This web site has been created to continue to let Ben’s voice sing and make his music available and accessible. This site also has the purpose of story sharing, advocacy for Haiti, fostering of faith, and a place for people who know and love Ben to continue in relationship with him and one another. A benefit concert for Haiti: Featuring music by Peter Mayer and Hans Peterson with offerings of Haitian culture, dance, and drumming by Walnes Cangas and Bill Nathan of St. Joseph’s Family in Haiti. Also, celebrating the musical and spiritual legacy of Ben Splichal Larson. At Luther College, Center for Faith and Life (CFL).
Admission $10 (free with Student ID). Freewill offering will also be taken. All proceeds go to benefit ministries and partnerships in Haiti including St. Joseph’s Home for Boys, Community Health Initiative in Haiti, and Eglise Lutherienne d’Haiti/Evangelical Lutheran Church of Haiti.
Sat., January 11th @ 3pm, CFL at Luther College- Public lecture held by author and founder of Haiti Partners, Kent Annan. Kent has written the books: “Following Jesus Through the Eye of the Needle” and “Aftershock.” Book signing following lecture.
Sun., January 12th @ 10am, CFL at Luther College- Worship featuring Ben Splichal Larson’s liturgy, “Behold, I make all things new.”
